The US “Buy American” proposal will lead to protectionism

Fisher said he supported the Fed’s aggressive action but stressed it was crucial that the U.S. have an exit strategy to prevent this massive build-up in liquidity from fueling inflation once recovers.” Right now, the pressures are not on the inflationary side; they’re on the other side.
